Frequently asked questions about New York City Events

For weddings and mitzvahs, I recommend booking 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak spring and fall dates. Corporate events and birthday celebrations typically book 1–3 months out. If your date is coming up soon, reach out anyway — I always try to accommodate when possible.

That depends on your event and what you’d like documented.
Most mitzvahs and weddings book between 6–10 hours to capture getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, and the full celebration. Corporate events and milestone birthdays often need 2–6 hours. I’m happy to help you decide based on your timeline and priorities.

Every event is unique, but you can expect a carefully curated gallery that tells the full story of your day — typically several hundred professionally edited images for full-day coverage. I focus on quality and storytelling, not just volume.

You’ll receive a sneak peek shortly after your event, and your full gallery is typically delivered within 3 business days. Corporate events may have a faster turnaround if needed for marketing or press.

Absolutely. I work with you (and your planner, if you have one) to make sure we have time for the key moments and family portraits without disrupting the flow of your celebration. For corporate events, I’ll coordinate in advance to understand VIPs, branding priorities, and must-capture moments.

I focus on storytelling. The big moments matter — but so do the quiet glances, the laughter at the tables, the emotion you didn’t even realize was happening. My goal is for you to feel your event all over again every time you look at your photos.

Yes. I carry full professional liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue upon request.

A signed agreement and a retainer officially secure your date. Once that’s in place, you’re on my calendar — and we begin planning your coverage together.
